Bathroom: Bright and fully tiled with shower over full size bath, WC and wash hand basin. With background heating for winter months.
Kitchen: Recently refurbished open plan American style kitchen with full equipment including: Cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, electric kettle, toaster etc.
Living Room: The lounge diner is bright and well decorated with 2 double sofas (one being a sofa bed) and opens onto the sun terrace with views to the South and West. The comfortable sofa bed opens out into a double bed. Facilities include satellite TV with English channels, a DVD player, CD/Tape/Radio and electric fan. Calor gas heater for the winter months.
Towels and bed linen are provided but please bring your own beach towels.
The apartment is fully cleaned in between lets only, but cleaning can be arranged during your stay for an additional charge.
Notes on accommodation
Sunset Apartment is ideal for a romantic holiday for a couple. Equally it provides comfortable accommodation for a family of three or two friends needing a summer break. A mobile air conditioning unit is provided in the summer and a gas heater in the winter months.

Outside
The terrace has a full length sunshade, table and chairs seating 4. Plus 2 reclining chairs for relaxing in the sun or shade! The large open air communal pool is for the use of guests and apartment owners only and opens from May to September (May, June, Sept 4 hours daily, July/Aug 8 hours. Lifeguard on duty). Pool opening times are subject to change from year to year. Parking is outside the apartment on a quiet residential no through road.
Coast/Beach
Penoncillo Beach is the nearest at approximately 900 metres. This is a quiet beach with good bathing and a few bars and restaurants. The main Torrox beach, 3kms, has an attractive promenade with numerous bars, restaurants, night life and entertainment to suit all age groups.
Golf
Baviera Golf Course is an 18 hole public course and 15 minutes drive. Anoreta Golf Course 30 minutes. Salobrena Golf Course 45 minutes.
Travel
Malaga International Airport is the nearest and approximately 45 minutes drive (50kms). Several budget airlines operate from here and car hire is easy and inexpensive. Although car hire is recommended to explore the local sights, if you enjoy walking or just need to chill out by the pool, a taxi from the airport should cost approximately 70 Euros. Buses along the coast to Malaga and Nerja run regularly.
Distances
Torrox Village, a typical pueblo blanco, with narrow streets and a weekly market, is 2kms. Nerja and the caves are 4kms. Velez Malaga is 10 kms and has a multi complex cinema, modern shopping centre, waterpark, hospitals etc.
Further details
Conveniently located 5 minutes walk from Sunset Apartment is a well stocked general food store with local beers/wines, fresh fruit and veg, 3 bar/restaurants including an excellent Italian restaurant, plus a Spanish restaurant called El Azafran, then Livingston's where you can dine and in the summer they have themed evenings, and finally a pub with homemade food, and a hairdressers. Taxis can be hired from the pub. There is also a launderette that sells newspapers and has internet access facilities.
The apartment is ideal if you wish to go sightseeing in Andalucia by car. The coastal motorway is less than 10 minutes drive. From here you can reach Granada in approx 90 minutes. Seville, Cordoba and Ronda are approx 2 hours. Malaga city has a castle, old centre with the Picasso museum and many cosy bars and coffee shops, great shopping and beaches too; all just a 40 minute drive.

A provisional booking can be made while flights etc are booked. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required for the booking with the balance due 6 weeks prior to your arrival. Payments can be made in Euros or Pounds by bank transfer. |
